About
Meet Your Coach, Dr. Erica Zadakis
I’m not here to throw theories at you, I promise. But here’s a little about my background, so you know where I come from.
The credentials part: PhD in psychology. Over a decade as a therapist. Marriage and family specialty. A few years teaching undergrads who thought Freud was still relevant. I know my way around trauma and relationships.
The real part: I've also ugly cried through my own healing journey in EMDR, Brainspotting, hypnotherapy, breathwork, Reiki, shadow work, plant medicine, and women's circles where we all admitted we're a little bit of a mess.
Journaling became my anchor when clarity finally showed up.
My Go-To Tool Is Brainspotting: A Trauma-Informed Somatic Approach
How it works: Brainspotting works with eye positions to access the brain–body pathways where unintegrated experiences, emotions, and protective patterns are held.
Rather than analyzing or revisiting the past, this approach supports your nervous system in completing what was never fully processed, at a pace your body can tolerate.
Warning: Integration Work Gets Real
This is not surface-level coaching.
At times, strong emotions or sensations may arise, not because we’re digging, but because your system is finally given the conditions it needs to regulate, release, and reorganize.
This Is For You If...
You’re done chasing quick fixes or surface-level self-help
You’ve plateaued despite therapy, coaching, or spiritual work
You recognize familiar patterns repeating and want integration, not more analysis
